Providing and Facilitating Industry Training

The HBPEF provides or facilitates training at:

• The HPBExpo – the annual HPBA trade show, where professional speakers and industry experts cover topics of interest to all industries, from strengthening a business, to purchasing and selling new product lines, to state-of-the-art hearth installation procedures. • The HPBA Affiliate meetings – The Foundation works with these HPBA regional groups to help provide strong education programs. Visit www.hpba.org to learn more about the trade association and its affiliates.
• Distributor and Manufacturer Dealer Training – distributors and manufacturers incorporate Foundation programs into their dealer training.
• Sister Organizations and Other Training Providers – The Foundation works with organizations representing the interests of related professions and businesses such as the International Code Council (ICC), Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA) and Wood Energy Technical Transfer (WETT).
• Hearth Online Training – Online courses offer effective training over the Internet.  Courses are live, interactive, presented by an instructor who leads discussion among participants, answers questions and teaches via visual images and text.  These courses are available at a reasonable fee without travel expense.
